Operating Guidelines
- Media and Ribbon Loading:
- Open the side cover and load the label roll onto the spindle.
- Route the media through sensors and underneath the printhead.
- Install the ribbon following the internal diagram, ensuring the ink side contacts the media.
- Sensor Calibration: Perform Auto Calibration whenever changing media types to accurately detect gaps or black marks.
- Driver & Software Setup: Use ZebraDesigner software for label design. Ensure 300 DPI is selected in the driver settings.
- Printhead Pressure Adjustment: Adjust the pressure knobs based on media thickness for optimal ink transfer without premature wear.
Important Cautions
- Regular Printhead Cleaning: Clean the printhead with 90° isopropyl alcohol after every ribbon roll. Never use sharp objects to remove debris.
